It is hard to believe that another chapter year is coming to an end. This year has continued to be a challenging one for our chapter and our industry. None of us could have predicted we'd still be in this situation more than a year later. We've had to continue to make a lot of adjustments to our lives, including the way we offer events. While going virtual is not how we expected to bring you our year end event again this year, we are excited we still have an opportunity to do so and we know it will be great!
Join the ILEA Calgary Chapter on Wednesday, June 23 from the comfort of your own home, backyard, balcony, park down the street (safely), where ever you feel comfortable as we bring our chapter year to a close. We are excited to connect and celebrate with you.
This event is all about community, connection, and celebration. We want to reconnect with our members and our community and we want you to reconnect with each other. There will be a networking session, which we know does not compare to in-person, but any opportunity to connect with our community is important.
ILEA Calgary will also be celebrating the end of the 2020/2021 ILEA Calgary chapter year as we give thanks to our current board and welcome in the new team. This is your first chance to meet the incoming Board of Directors, virtually, who will be operating ILEA Calgary for the 2021/2022 chapter year. We are excited to have expert in hope and Certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor, Lindsay Recknell join us for a conversation.
In this session, Lindsay will share how the Science of Hope is a catalyst for your resilience and how you can create a future better than today by taking action over the things you can control, science has proven that resiliency can be taught. Over the last year and a bit, our resolve has been tested and our hope waned, as we've navigated the uncertainty of our brave new world. The thing about going through hard times, is that we get to go through them and come out the other side stronger, braver, more resilient, and more connected to ourselves and each other than we even were before. Lindsay works with individuals and organizations to increase their levels of psychological health & safety in the workplace using Positive Psychology and the Science of Hope.
We are also excited to be offering a Catered Box for this event. We know it's tough not being in a room together to celebrate, so we'd like to bring some of the celebration to you. Each box will be filled with a catered meal and beverage or two from Concept Catering accompanied by a super cool augmented reality experience from SOS that includes a curated Spotify playlist, we know you will love it.
